Potluck Seder

on

Yesterday I helped organize a fantastic potluck Seder for the second night of Passover. There were around 50 attendees and it was quite a bit of work to set up, but I think everyone enjoyed it so the principle goal was accomplished.  Potlucks are always fun since there is always so much variety of food to try. I’m glad we were able to have at the graduate community center, overcoming the fact that we could only reserve a room the day of the event.

Exercise: Trying to get back in the running routine so I can hammer the mountain trails this summer. I went on runs on Monday and Tuesday. On Monday, my quads were intensely tight (the fallout from the Tiger Mountain effort last week) and I felt awful. Tuesday was much better with less stiffness and better rhythm. With such nice weather, I’m tempted to go out again today, but I don’t want to be overly exuberant as I am just starting to ramp up the running. I’ll probably just go for a pump at Arrillaga gym.
