Too many boys in China

I feel bad for Chinese men. Check out this video from CNN.com: (Video: China: Too many boys?). The country is running out of girls. In fact, in the urban areas, for every 118 boys, there are only 100 girls. In rural areas, there are 130 boys for every 100 girls! By 2020, the government predicts 30 million more men than women! This is an unintended result of China’s strict one child policy. The government is worried that huge numbers of single men will lead to social unrest and increased crime and is trying to encourage families to give birth to girls and relaxing many laws that had given men an advantage. It may be too little too late for millions of Chinese boys.
