Yesterday I ran for 75 minutes with Hari at Los altos Hills. It was a great run! The Los Altos Hills City has an ordinance requiring cinder paths alongside the roads and open spaces for the many horse owners in the community. The result is a network of trails providing road-free running for miles. It’s amazing that there is countryside so close so close to the metropolis of the Bay Area, but living there comes at a price; many of the houses in Los Altos Hills are mansions and some of the top entrepreneurs in the Silicon Valley live there.
Today I put in 45 minutes of running at Arastradero Preserve. It was quite breezy but I felt pretty good on the run.
