In reply to poksumdo.Two other reliable spots to view elk in California are the Sinkyone Wilderness (Roosevelt Elk) and Point Reyes (Tule Elk).

Thanks for posting this gem , I’ll take done the details and look it up next time i’m in California.
Love those redwoods and nice to see elk in California.Do they occur anywhere else in this state?
